Surgeon Saved From Surgery at Illinois Back Institute

Dr. Nick Andriacchi has been an ankle and foot surgeon for over 20 years. He loves what he does as a surgeon and doctor. He has also been to many different countries doing medical missions work. As a surgeon, he is constantly leaning over for numerous of hours, which took a huge toll on his neck and back.

    • For the past 5 years, Dr. Andriacchi was struggling with severe neck and back pain, which would cause numbness and tingling in his right hand.

Before coming to IBI, Dr. Andriacchi tried laser treatments as well as many different stretches and exercises with no improvement. He didn’t want to try pain medication, knowing the side affects could cause grogginess. “I like to be at the top of my game for whatever I do,” he says. His only other option he thought, would be surgery.

One day, Dr. Nick Andriacchi was having severe neck and back pain. The pain was so severe that it was causing numbness and tingling in his right hand. With more surgeries to do that day, Dr. Andriacchi pushed back his surgeries and took a few hours off to go get treatment at the Illinois Back Institute.

    • After his treatment with IBI, Dr. Andriacchi was able to go back to perform the rest of his surgeries without a problem.

“The Illinois Back Institute has helped me immensely. The type of therapy that I get there is so unique and so different than any other therapy I’ve ever had.” Because of the Illinois Back Institute, Dr. Nick Andriacchi can now go back to doing what he loves to do in functioning as a doctor and surgeon without any medications.

“I would tell you right up front to consider this modality…this way of treatment, it will help you. If you’re considering surgery, consider this therapy first. If you live an active life and want to keep going and struggle with neck and back problems…I would strongly advice you to check out the Illinois Back Institute.”
