Is Summer Fun Causing You Back Pain?
Now that the warm weather is officially here many of you are spending your days outside and on the water. Whether you are water skiing, tubing, wake-boarding, or just sitting on a motorboat, it is easy to damage your back. Your body is can be twisted, turned and banged around while wiping out during water sports. The body is not use to all the different movement and often the back is the first thing to get hurt. To lesson your chance of injury ask the boat driver to slow down a little so that when you crash your body doesn’t get as tangled & twisted. When riding in the boat make sure to sit up straight & face forward so that the bouncing of the boat does not distort your back. It’s the best time of the year to get out on the water and have some fun. Make sure to take all safety precautions so you can have the best pain free summer!
