Looking for a Natural Treatment for Herniated Discs? Try Functional Disc Rehyrdration

describe the imageIf you’re frustrated after years of living with back pain or neck pain from a slipped disc, there’s hope on the horizon. Herniated discs create havoc in the lives of many people, like you, who’ve almost forgotten what a pain-free back feels like. Functional Disc Rehydration™ is a breakthrough treatment that fixes the problem at its source, without drugs or risky, invasive procedures.

Functional Disc Rehydration™ is an all-natural treatment developed by a physician who once shared your pain. Dr. Jeff Winternheimer, D.C., is a back pain expert--who’s been there. Not willing to continue suffering or undergo invasive surgery, Dr. Jeff developed a simple, natural treatment that works quickly to restore spinal discs to proper function. The result: a formal research study of progressive disc rejuvenation has shown improvement in 100 percent of patients.

Understanding herniated discs

A herniated disc (sometimes referred to as a ruptured disc) is a problem with one or more of the rubbery “cushions” between the bones of your spine. This usually occurs in the lumbar spine or low back and can occur in the smaller discs of the cervical spine in the neck. After years of use, injury and other types of pressure, spinal discs may herniate or rupture, causing part of the central nucleus to push through the outer casing or cartilage, transferring pressure to the nerves. Once irritated, the sensitive spinal nerves react, creating pain, numbness and/or weakness in one (or both) legs. Over time, the pain gradually, inevitably, gets worse. Discs are weakened by excess pressure on the back that can be caused by:

  • Repeated strenuous activities
  • Improper lifting
  • Smoking
  • Excess body weight which places added stress on spinal discs
  • Sudden pressure or movement, sometimes only slight

Why doesn’t the back “spring back”?

In children and young people, spinal discs have high water content and their discs provide excellent shock absorbers within the spine. As we age, water content decreases, making discs less flexible—thus bending and moving become more difficult. Discs also shrink over time, narrowing the cushioned space between vertebrae and crowding the nerves running through the spine.

Dr. Jeff Winternheimer D.C. designed his treatment to specifically address the root cause of herniated disc pain—the drying discs. The Functional Disc Rehydration™ treatment returns your spinal discs to proper function by restoring hydration lost from aging. The rehydration procedure reverses spinal degeneration, rejuvenating the spine and restoring the cushion between spinal joints. It helps the back spring back.
